AsiaFlux Workshop 2015

AsiaFlux Workshop 2015event picture
The AsiaFlux community works hard to bring key ecosystems under observation to ensure sustainability and quality of life in Asia. The measurement of evapotranspiration and the energy balance are key parameters in the study of ecosystems. Kipp & Zonen offers a range of instruments for accurate and reliable measurement.

From November 22 to 29
Location: Dune, India

The Asian continent is the home for about 4 billion people which represents 60% of the total global population. Therefore the terrestrial ecosystem of the Asian region is of great importance and the processes of understanding and monitoring it under climate changing scenarios are a greater challenge. In this context the AsiaFlux 2015 workshop will address key themes such as measurement techniques, short- and long- lived GreenHouse Gas sources and sinks, trends and variability of ecosystem processes and parameters, impacts on ecosystems of variability in climate change and other relevant areas to research of the Asian ecosystem.

Kipp & Zonen will participate in the workshop and is one of the exhibitors. We will have our latest large aperture scintillometer on hand to demonstrate the benefits of measuring heat fluxes and evapotranspiration with our LAS MkII.

We look forward to meeting you in India!
