Vaisala’s SP-12 Solar Weather Station: a bankable solution for reducing resource uncertainty

This new, ready-to-install system proves all the instrumentation required for best practice solar energy resource assessment and environmental condition monitoring. The station includes a mast, data logger, and state-of-the-art sensors for measuring air pressure, temperature, humidity, rainfall, wind speed and wind direction. Two of our SMP10 pyranometers are mounted on the mast arms, one to measure global horizontal irradiance and the other tilted to the plane of the arrays.

Kipp & Zonen radiometers help Swedish researchers to understand global warming
