Published: Tuesday, January 6, 2015 We start the New Year with the 31st issue of our newsletter, our way of sharing the most interesting applications of our instruments around the world. You can find Kipp & Zonen pyranometers and our SOLYS 2 sun tracker in the majority of networks measuring solar radiation. For example, the Southern African Universities Radiometric Network that promotes the use of solar energy. Read their story in this issue.

This newsletter also includes an article that sheds some light on the problems of dust and soiling in solar energy. Something many plant managers are dealing with. Did you know that high quality solar radiation monitoring can help here?

PTS Mesures in France is one of our first customers to have worked with the new CMP10 pyranometer. Read their feedback and examples of their installations with Kipp & Zonen instruments.

We also tell you about our new instruction video for the SOLYS 2 and announce the new website dedicated to the Brewer spectrophotometer; and don’t forget to check our calendar for the coming months. We would love to hear your feedback too, and welcome you to visit our booths at these fairs and events.
