The new CMP10, because we know what makes a secondary standard pyranometer better

Pyranometer

Practice makes perfect, and as a result Kipp & Zonen launches a new addition to its well-known CMP series of pyranometers. The CMP10 is a secondary standard pyranometer that reduces maintenance and has the best price-quality-performance ratio on the market. The secret of this new development lies with the internal desiccant that does not require inspection or replacement for at least 10 years.

Based on established technology

Based on the established CMP 11 technology, CMP10 extends this quality to applications where maintenance is difficult and/or forms a major part of the cost of ownership. With 30 years of high quality measurement data, and over 25,000 CM 11 and CMP 11 pyranometers sold, CMP10 continues an impressive tradition.

A typical pyranometer needs regular inspection of the desiccant in the drying cartridge, and replacement approximately every 6 months. However, the internal desiccant of the CMP10, will last for at least 10 years! The only maintenance necessary is to periodically clean the dome of the pyranometer.

The combination of the CMP10 with the new CVF4 ventilation unit minimises maintenance, whilst maximising performance.

Kipp & Zonen is confident that the CMP10 is another step closer to perfection and therefore provides every CMP10 with a unique 5-year warranty as standard.
