As the solar market is growing rapidly in the MENA area and since SME provides a key opportunity to show the latest developments in the global solar industry, naturally this is the place to be for Kipp & Zonen. We will be represented by the sales manager of Kipp & Zonen Sarl., in France, Mr. Kamal Sabra.
Today the focus is on higher measurement accuracy. For both PV and solar thermal applications accurate solar monitoring is becoming increasingly important. Kipp & Zonen can tell you how the uncertainties in solar radiation measurement affect performance and efficiency calculations, what the sources of uncertainty in measuring direct and global solar radiation are, how these factors impact on the calculations of PV plant efficiency and performance ratios; and how the uncertainties can be minimized in practice.
On March 2nd (10:30 – 11:30) Mr. Kamal Sabra will give a presentation on solar radiation measurement and on calibration and maintenance. You are very welcome to look in on this presentation. It will take place in the Solar hall itself (Sheikh Maktoum hall), very close to the Kipp & Zonen stand (MA30).
