12th EMA Annual Meeting, 2012

Every year the European Meteorological Society (EMS) comes together for the European Conference on Applied Climatology (ECAC). The 12th Annual Meeting of the EMS will take place in Lødz, Poland. This year the thematic focus lays on European Climate Services Capabilities – user needs and communication with stakeholders. Kipp & Zonen contributes to this meeting and will be one of the exhibitors.

In Europe, many climate services are more and more trans-boundary in character. International collaboration is needed to develop and provide services on a European scale or to serve users at country level when consistency with neighbouring countries is required.

The ECAC will provide a forum for exchanging and sharing knowledge on the development of services and identifying and linking stakeholders, users, providers and researchers to strengthen the socio-economic benefits of these services.

Kipp & Zonen welcomes you to visit our stand #4 in the central foyer. We will have several of our instruments on display, such as our well known CMP pyranometers and the CGR 4 pyrgeometer. But we will also demonstrate our new smart SMP series. Hope to meet you there!
