Published: Tuesday, October 14, 2014 Kipp & Zonen introduces a perfect combination of two recent successful launches combined into one instruments; the low maintenance SMP10 pyranometer with smart digital signal processing. Now with all new Smart Sensor Explorer software that allows for set-up with RS-485 to USB or TCP/IP converters and data logging to a computer. On display at Meteorological Technology World Expo.

This pyranometer has all the performance advantages of the successful SMP11 model with Smart interface, but without the need to regularly inspect the drying cartridge and change the desiccant. The design of the SMP10 enables the internal drying agent to last for up to 10 years.

SMP10 is the next step in further improving the accuracy, and reducing maintenance, of the most widely used range of pyranometers in the world.
