Overview
The Ott CBS 500 is a versatile bubbler sensor for accurate water level measurement in surface water and groundwater applications. It uses the proven air-bubble principle, ensuring reliable performance even in dirty or dynamic conditions, as no electronics are submerged.
The sensor delivers precise and stable measurements with high resolution and accuracy across measuring ranges up to 15 m and 30 m. Its low-maintenance design, including an integrated purge function, reduces servicing effort and supports long-term monitoring installations.
Designed for modern monitoring networks, the CBS 500 offers flexible digital integration via SDI-12 and RS-485 (Modbus RTU) and can be easily connected to Ott, Sutron, and third-party dataloggers. It is optimized for remote and off-grid operation, supporting battery and solar-powered stations.
