Use of AI in Visual Content

While we embrace the advancements in artificial intelligence (AI) to enhance our creative processes, we use AI-generated imagery strictly for illustrative purposes. AI-generated images are never intended to create false representations or to mislead our audience. Our use of AI is guided by the following principles:

• All efforts are made to always use human composed, actuated, and processed photography. Where it is not possible to gather human generated photography, due to proximity or location or scale, AI-generated images may be used to complement and illustrate our content, not to replace or misrepresent real-life scenarios. We ensure that these images do not convey false information or imply capabilities that do not exist.

• Our commitment to integrity means that we do not use AI-generated images to cover up or compensate for any shortcomings in our products or services. We believe in honest and transparent communication with our audience.

• We clearly disclose when AI-generated images are used, ensuring our audience is aware of the nature of the content.
• All photos with 70% or more AI-generation shall be clearly marked AI-generated Image as well as designated in the metadata as AI-generated Image, including name and version number of the AI system, and the time and date of creation.
• Photos with 30% or less AI-generation where AI is used merely for production assistance (e.g., reduction of imperfections in the image), minor enhancements to background (similar to common non-AI enhancements), or similar functions under human direction that do not affect the meaning or perception of the image shall not be clearly marked or designated in the metadata as AI-generated.
• Graphic images and Photorealistic 3D animations, including those generated with AI, are considered illustrative and do not require disclosure. This includes animations based on computer-assisted drawings, photorealistic skins applied to those drawings, and animated image movements. These visuals are not presented as photographic representations and therefore are exempt from disclosure requirements.
