Overview
The WS600-J is an all-in-one weather sensor measuring wind speed, wind direction, air temperature, relative humidity, air pressure, and radar-based precipitation, with no moving parts to clog or freeze. A drop-in replacement for the Lufft WS600, the WS600-J is built on the same trusted Lufft platform, reporting data every 5 seconds instead of every minute, and with built-in ultrasonic wind and radar precipitation sensing. For road authorities, the WS600-J is a radar precipitation sensor built for RWIS networks and winter maintenance decisions. For solar plants, it delivers the weather data behind performance-ratio calculations and tracker stow decisions. For meteorological sites, it's a WMO-compliant reference station built to hold calibration for years. Now you can measure more, maintain less with the WS600-J.
Benefits
One Platform Across Networks
The J-Series is a drop-in replacement for legacy WS units, sharing size, weight, mounting, cable connections, available protocol formats and interfaces, and software across the platform. One calibration reference, one spare pool, one standard.Reduced Risk, Improved Self-Diagnostics
The WS-J's incorporates improved house-keeping functions, live heating-voltage monitoring, and automatic self-diagnostics to catch a failing component before it corrupts the rest of the instrument and finally your decision-making data set.Performance & Tender- Readiness
Integrated design with WMO compliant wind gust calculation and present weather reporting (Synop 4680/WaWa). IEC 61724- 1:2021 Class A compliant. 5s output rates on air temperature, relative humidity, wind, air pressure and precipitation. Wind speed reported up to 75 m/s. Measured parameters are tested in our certified calibration process. Comes with a FAT certificate.Low Lifecycle Cost by Design
With built-in ultrasonic wind and the radar precipitation sensing, the WS600-J has fewer failure points. The new aspirated radiation solution ensures lifetime performance and the single sensor. Single cable connection drops total costs of ownership over the full life of your sensor's deployment.Specifications
