Kipp & Zonen CMP10x Pyranometer
Product Number: 0379915Overview
The CMP10x is the spectrally flat Class A analog output pyranometer. The CMP10x provides a quality irradiance measuring solution for applications where maintenance is difficult and/or forms a major part of the cost of ownership.
The CMP10x has an internal drying cartridge that will last for at least 10 years if the housing is not opened. This minimizes maintenance significantly. It has a millivolt analog output for simply datalogger integration that requires no instrument configuration.
The interval for dome cleaning can be extended, and the quality and accuracy of the irradiance measurements maximized, by fitting CMP10x with the proven CVF4 ventilation unit, which helps prevent dust build-up on the dome and protects it against dew and frost.
The Pyranometer does not require a dedicated power supply. It autonomously generates a low voltage output in the estimated range of 0 to 24 mV relative to an irradiance measurement range of 0 to 1500 W/m².
When a higher voltage level or a 4 to 20 mA signal is required, the AMPBOX is the perfect accessory to meet your needs.
Benefits
Improved Measurement Quality Over Time
Compatible with the CVF4 ventilation unit, which helps extend cleaning intervals and maintain measurement accuracy.
Lowest Cost of Ownership
Designed with the best price–quality–performance ratio, making it highly cost-effective. Ideal for applications where maintenance and servicing costs are significant.Flexible & Simple Operation
No dedicated power supply required; generates its own low-voltage signal. Optional AMPBOX allows signal amplification when needed.Minimal Maintenance Requirement
Features an internal drying cartridge with ≥10-year lifetime, eliminating frequent servicing.Specifications
