Expanding our Brewer Service Team with AFC Ingenieros

Our Brewer MkIII Spectrophotometer is a unique and highly scientific instrument for the accurate measurement of stratospheric Ozone and ultraviolet radiation. Much care goes into the manufacture of Brewers and this is also required for their maintenance, service and calibration. To help support the growing number of MkIII Brewers around the world, and the large installed base of MkII and MkIV instruments, we are expanding our specialist service team with a new partner AFC Ingenieros S.A. of Madrid, Spain.
AFC will assist us in providing support for Brewers worldwide. Their trained team will be deployed to provide installation, maintenance, service and calibration of Brewer Spectrophotometers on location.
About AFC Ingenieros
AFC Ingenieros, S.A. is a company with over 29 years of experience in the supply, installation and maintenance of various types of facilities and equipment related to the measurement of environmental parameters. Throughout these years, they have been expanding their portfolio of services with new skills and knowledge to continue being a reference company for their customers.
Currently AFC is certified under ISO9001 and ISO14001 quality standards. And they also have ISO17025 calibration laboratories (ENAC) for parameters such as:
- Concentration of Ozone, Sulphur Dioxide, Nitric Oxide and Nitrogen Dioxide gasses
- DC and low frequency electricity
- Time and frequency
- Fluid flow rates
Brewer Experience
Since April 2000, AFC has been working on the installation, maintenance and servicing of the Brewer network of AEMET (Spanish Meteorological Agency) and has a close relationship with the Regional Brewer Calibration Center – Europe (RBCC-E) at the Izaña Observatory on Tenerife.
